This Is Us cast members took to the picket line yesterday (July 26) as part of the ongoing actors strike.
The SAG-AFTRA (Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists) union announced strike action would take place after discussions with major studios over their proposed terms failed to reach an agreement. The union, which represents approximately 160,000 actors across the world, is calling for better pay as well as enhanced protections against artificial intelligence (AI).
It means that productions have shut down as actors walk off set as part of the strike action, including some of the biggest stars in TV and film.

This Is Us' Jon Huertas, Chris Sullivan and Mandy Moore were among those on the picket line at Amazon's New York HQ yesterday.
The stars of the Amazon Prime Video drama series were pictured arm in arm and wearing SAG-AFTRA strike t-shirts in support of the strike. Sullivan, who played Toby on the show, can also be seen holding his placard for the picture which reads: "SAG-AFTRA on strike!".
It's not the first time the stars have been spotted on the picket line, with Sullivan posting selfies last week alongside Miguel Rivas actor Huertas, writing on Twitter: "@jonhuertas and I letting everybody at Amazon and Sony know we're here to secure the contracts we all deserve."

NCIS' Sean Murray and Brian Dietzen also reunited during the strikes, with Murray posting a picture to Instagram alongside his co-star holding signs and wearing merchandise in support of SAG-AFTRA.
Chicago Med trio Steven Weber, Kristen Hager and S. Epatha Merkerson have also aired their support of the strikes, which is the first US-based actors' walkout in over 40 years.
