“The US Open isn't just another pickleball tournament. It’s an immersive pickleball experience as the energy, spirit of community, pure joy and fun are unlike any other pickleball event,” said Terri Graham, the event’s co-founder.

Here's what you need to know about the self-described "biggest pickleball party in the world."

How to get tickets

Admission is free for the US Open Pickleball Championships. Tickets are only required to watch pro matches on the Zing Zang Championship Court. Due to high demand, ticket sales opened through a lottery system in late January. However, they will also be sold onsite if space is available.

Where can I park?

There will be a $5 charge for all-day parking at the US Open Pickleball Championships. All proceeds will benefit the Kiwanis Club's 'Christmas in July' program to benefit Collier County students. Complimentary shuttle service is provided from the parking lots. The park is located at 3500 Thomasson Drive, Naples, 34112.

Who are the top pro players to watch?

Among the headliners competing in this year's US Open are local pros Simone Jardim, Kyle Yates and Parris Todd. Other top players include Megan Fudge, Alix Truong, Hunter Johnson, Eden Lica and Rob Nunnery.

Also, many former professional athletes from other sports will also compete including NBA Hall of Famer Rick Barry, ex-MLB pitcher Kent Mercker and former professional tennis players Sam Querrey, Noah Rubin, Gigi Fernandez and JoAnne Russell.

What should I bring?

Even though plenty of bleachers will be available for seating at the US Open Pickleball Championships, fans should consider bringing a portable chair. Coolers are permitted, but not glass bottles and fans can't bring their own alcohol. Food and beverages, including alcohol, are available to purchase.

While portions of the championship court seating are shaded, many other courts are not, so fans should bring a hat or umbrella. And bring cash because many of the food vendors and the beer garden only accept it. There is an onsite ATM.

How can I watch if I can't attend?

The tournament will also be streamed daily on Pickleball Channel. The men’s and women’s pro doubles finals will be broadcast live on CBS Sports Network on April 22 from 5-7 p.m. The mixed doubles finals will be live-streamed on Pickleball Channel at 7 p.m. ET.
