US photographer Annie Leibovitz visits Kyiv

She is the latest star guest to visit Ukraine amid Russia's full-scale invasion, NV.ua Editor-in-Chief Yulia McGuffie said on Facebook.
Leibovitz, 72, is one of today's most famous photographers, taking portraits of stars, celebrities and politicians. It was she who took the famous picture in which a naked John Lennon kisses Yoko Ono, lying in bed next to him. It was she who filmed naked Demi Moore in a costume painted right on her body. She also took a photo of Whoopi Goldberg in a bath with milk.

Queen Elizabeth, Mick Jagger, Michael Jackson, Meryl Streep, Leonardo DiCaprio, Miley Cyrus, Joe Biden, Jill Biden, Kamala Harris, and many others have been subjects of her portraits for the covers of Rolling Stone, Vanity Fair, Vogue, The New York Times, and more.

The U.S. Library of Congress declared Leibovitz a "Living Legend" in 2000. She became the first woman to have an art exhibit at the National Portrait Gallery in Washington.
