Penny Pritzker, the United States Special Representative for Ukraine's Economic Recovery, has arrived in Kyiv.

Source: This was first reported by Bridget Brink, US Ambassador to Ukraine, European Pravda writes.

Details: Brink posted a photo of their meeting at the railway station in Kyiv, noting that Pritzker was accompanied by the heads of several US private sector CEOs.

Quote from Brink: "Today we will have meetings focused on accelerating US business investment in Ukraine for the recovery."

Around 16:00, Penny Pritzker said that the delegation had met with Oleksandr Kubrakov, Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction, to discuss "practical steps to increase Ukraine’s exports and restore its economic vitality".

Prior to that, Pritzker met with Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski in Warsaw and raised the issue of the ongoing blockade of the border by Polish hauliers.

A few days before Pritzker's arrival in Ukraine, she held a remote meeting with Ukrainian Economy Minister Yulia Svyrydenko which was also attended by the ambassadors of Ukraine and the United States.

Reminder:

In November, the United States appointed another special envoy for Ukraine, an infrastructure adviser based in Kyiv. Robert Mariner was appointed to the position.
