This Is Us star Milo Ventimiglia weds girlfriend Jarah Mariano

This Is Us actor Milo Ventimiglia has secretly wed his girlfriend, model Jarah Mariano, it has been confirmed.

Us Weekly reports that the couple tied the knot in a small ceremony surrounded by close family and friends, and representatives for the actor confirmed that was the case to People.

The pair were first linked last year, and were reported to have bought a place in Malibu together, while Mariano was seen wearing a diamond ring and band back in June.

The couple haven't posted publicly about their relationship or their marriage, and it's unlikely that they will. Ventimiglia is famously private about his personal life, preferring to focus on his work.

This Is Us came to an end last year after six seasons, and during promotion for the finale, the actor reflected on what made his character Jack Pearson so relatable.

"I like that Jack felt like an attainable superhero," he explained. "I like that he was someone any man could be. In his flaws, in his shortcomings, he still did his best to show the ones that he loved how much they meant to him and give them everything they need to go forward and have happy lives.

"I think he was [an] inspiration to a bunch of great fathers and great husbands, and something we needed to see out of men."

Before This Is Us and Heroes, Ventimiglia starred in Gilmore Girls as Jess Mariano (the same surname as his wife!) and recently revealed that he used to spray paint artwork around the studio lot when he got bored during the long hours.

The actor will star in Russell Crowe movie Land of Bad, also featuring Neighbours' Daniel MacPherson and American Gods' Ricky Whittle.

This Is Us can be streamed on Prime Video and Disney+.
