USA-Canada Women's Hockey Game Canceled Over COVID-19 Concerns

SAINT PAUL, MN — The women's hockey game between the United States and Canada that was scheduled to be played at the Xcel Energy Center Monday was canceled due to "concerns around COVID-19," USA Hockey announced.

"We're extremely disappointed to not be able to play the game tonight," Pat Kelleher, executive director at USA Hockey, said in a news release.

"We're thankful for the great support we've received from the Minnesota Wild, Xcel Energy Center and the Minnesota hockey community, and we look forward to the next time we're back here in Minnesota."

Tickets purchased online through Ticketmaster will be automatically refunded, organizers said. People who bought tickets elsewhere should ask their vendor for a refund.
