Use This ‘Breast Shape Dictionary’ To Identify Your Baps
Ever considered your breast shape? Or even whether they have a technical term? Never mind. They’re lovely anyway.
But just in case, US lingerie company Third Love have developed a “breast shape dictionary” so when it comes to bra shopping, you can find the perfect fit. Their website suggests the following styles for each shape.
Round
Equally full at the top and bottom.
Most styles work for this breast shape (lucky you).
East West
Nipples pointing outwards.
Best styles for this shape: T-shirt, push-up, full cup, non-wired and bralette.
Side Set
Wide space between breasts.
If you’re breasts fall into the side set category the best styles for you are: T-shirt, push-up, non-wired, unlined, front closure and bralette.
Asymmetric
One breast larger than the other.
Most women have one breast slightly larger than the other. Those with a discernible difference can remove one side of padding from a padded bra to even out the appearance.
Bell Shape
Slimmer at the top, fuller at the bottom.
Bell shaped ladies should consider: T-shirt, push-up, full cup, non-wired, unlined and bralette.
Slender
Thin breasts, nipples pointing downwards.
Slender shapes are recommended: T-shirt, push-up, non-wired and bralette.
Tear Drop
Round but slightly less full at the top.
Ladies with tear dropped shaped breasts might want to try: T-shirt, push-up, non-wired, unlined, front closure or bralette styles.
