OCONTO – A new downtown store is offering an inexpensive used clothing alternative to area residents.

Angel’s Attic at 1020 Main St. opened in early June by Amy Yedynak.

It’s the kind of store she’d want to visit.

“I love thrift shopping,” Yedyanak said. I’m a shopper who loves low-cost clothing.”

All of the items are priced between $1.50 to $8, the latter being for name brand items.

Angel's Attic also gives a local option to people who’d rather not spend the time, or expensive gas money, to go to stores in Marinette or Green Bay, she added.

With limited apparel options in Oconto, the option is desperately needed, she said.

“It’s all about helping our community,” Yedynak said.

The store, which is filled with racks of clothes, carries sizes from XXS to 4X, as well as children’s clothing.

Yedynak, who owns the store with her husband Zak, also buys gently used clothes.

She said the store also will provide vouchers for clothing though St. Vincent De Paul for fire and flood victims.

The store is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The number is 920-516-7126.
