USFL's Michigan Panthers set low prices for season tickets at Ford Field in Detroit

The USFL's Michigan Panthers are back playing in the state for the first time since 1984, and now you can grab tickets to see their return at Ford Field in Detroit.

End zone season tickets at Ford Field will cost $25 for access to all nine USFL games this season, which includes five Panthers games and five separate weekends, including two doubleheaders. The Philadelphia Stars will also play some home games at Ford Field.

Club-level season tickets at Ford Field are priced for $100, and sideline-level season tickets are $75.

Single-game tickets are $40 for club seats, $25 across the sideline and $10 for end zone seats.

“The USFL is the best value in professional sports,” Daryl Johnston, the former Dallas Cowboys fullback and USFL executive vice president of football operations, said in a statement releasing ticket information across the league. “We know how important our USFL Football Family is and we know our fans feel the same way about their families. That’s why it’s so important for the USFL to make it affordable for families and friends to be able to enjoy our exciting games together in a fun atmosphere at all four USFL host stadiums.”

The Panthers on Tuesday had the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 USFL draft and selected tackle Jarrett Horst out of Michigan State. The Panthers are coached this season by Mike Nolan, replacing Jeff Fisher after a 2-8 season in 2022, the first year of the league's reboot, played entirely in Birmingham, Alabama.

The Panthers will open training camp in Michigan in March and begin the 2023 season on the road April 16 vs. the Houston Gamblers in Memphis and April 23 vs. the Stars in Canton, Ohio.

Their first home game is April 30 against the New Jersey Generals. The 10-game regular season will have games on both Saturdays and Sundays, and wraps up June 18. The USFL consists of eight teams.

The Panthers, who shared the Pontiac Silverdome with the Lions in the 1980s, won the inaugural league title in 1983 over the Stars in Denver. The league folded before the 1986 season.

The rebooted XFL, which does not have a Michigan team, began play last weekend and has its championship game scheduled for May 13.
