The U.S. men's national team had never played to a scoreless draw at the FIFA World Cup — until Friday, earning one point in a tie against England at Al Bayt Stadium in Al Khor, Qatar.

The U.S. outshot the Three Lions, 10-8, but struggled to put those chances on frame. Christian Pulisic's strike that pinged off the crossbar in the 33rd minute was the only scoring opportunity for the Americans.

The USMNT is now 0-0-2 in Group B, meaning it sits third heading into the final match day of the group stage. England (1-0-1) remains first in the group. The U.S. tied Wales, 1-1, in its World Cup opener and will face Iran on Tuesday (1 p.m., FOX).

Friday's draw means the U.S. has a 2-8-2 all-time record against England.
