UT Police searching for 2 suspects in ATM burglary

AUSTIN (KXAN) — University of Texas at Austin Police are investigating an ATM robbery that happened Tuesday evening.

Two male suspects broke into an ATM in the 1300 block of East Dean Keeton Street around 5 p.m. Tuesday, UTPD said in a social media post.

Police said there were no reported injuries and there is no ongoing threat to the community.

According to UTPD, the first suspect is described as a Hispanic man with a beard, and was last seen wearing glasses, a black hat, black gloves, a navy shirt, tan pants, black shoes, and a black backpack.

The other suspect is described as a Hispanic man wearing a dark gray hat, a gray crew neck sweater, blue jeans, black and white Nike shoes, and a black backpack.

The UTPD Investigations and Mitigation Division is investigating the incident.
