UT Tyler named among top 50 online graduate nursing programs

TYLER, Texas (KETK) – The U.S. News and World Report has listed UT Tyler’s online graduate nursing program as one of the best in the U.S., according to a statement.

UT Tyler awarded $300,000 for Pre-Law Academy

UT Tyler announced on Wednesday that their online graduate nursing program has been named number 31 in the U.S. by the U.S. News and World Report.

“This is a significant accomplishment for the UT Tyler School of Nursing,” said Dr. Julie V. Philley,
executive vice president and vice provost for UT Tyler health affairs. “We are proud to contribute
to the shaping of health care leaders who will drive positive change in patient care and nursing
practice.”

UT Tyler shared in a release that the average growth rate predicted for advanced practice registered nurses (APRN) is approximately 12 times higher than the average for other occupations. They said that the online masters program provides nurses with the skills necessary to become APRNs, and meet the needs of the growing demand.
