PNH400 Managing Director Valerie Rochon and Community Engagement Officer Susan Labrie explained the Beacon Sponsor commitment of $10,000 enables operational and logistical planning to advance for the PNH400 signature events including the June 3, 2023 parade, Aug. 6, 2023 Little Italy Carnival and Aug. 15, 2023 community dinner.

Kennebunk Savings Bank Executive Vice President and Managing Director Chris Kehl commented, “Kennebunk Savings is committed to our Community Promise: we give 10 percent of our annual earnings back to nonprofits in our community because when we give back to the community we live in, we all thrive. In our work, we’re empowered to act based on the character of the businesses we serve and strengthen the connections we make by being part of our neighborhoods. It’s not just about the bottom line. Having just celebrated our 150th anniversary in 2021, we appreciate what a milestone 400 years is and what that sustained history means to our Greater Portsmouth neighbors. We are proud to be counted among the Beacon sponsors because we truly believe our example can light the way to a great celebration and a stronger, shared community.”
