UW Eau Claire accounting students helping with tax filing

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – If you need help filing your taxes this year, there could be a student ready to help you. Starting on March 8th, accounting students at UW Eau Claire will provide free income tax return preparation through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program.

To qualify for the service, you have to make less than $64 thousand a year. Appointments will take place in the Davies Center every Friday from March 8th through April 12th from 5 to 8 pm. You are required to sign up ahead of time.
