UW football receives two oral commitments, giving the Badgers four players for the 2023 class
MADISON – Wisconsin coach Paul Chryst and his staff entered May with one known commitment for the 2023 class.
That number stands at four after the Badgers received two commitments on Friday.

The first came from Justin Taylor, a 6-foot, 185-pound defensive back/wide receiver from Nazareth Academy in Illinois.
Taylor, recruited by outside linebackers coach Bobby April III and defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard, is expected to start out at safety at UW.

The second commitment came from Jaquez Keyes, a 6-foot-1, 205-pound running back from Ironton High School in Ohio.
He was recruited by April and new running backs coach Al Johnson.
Keyes recently added offers from Iowa and Pittsburgh.
Taylor held offers from Kansas State, Wyoming, Air Force, Army and Navy and several Mid-American Conference schools.
Keyes and Taylor join Arizona offensive lineman James Durand, who announced his commitment on May 6; and Illinois linebacker Tyler Jansey, who committed in January; in the 2023 class.
