Bronson Barn in Peninsula is offering a one-night stay including a $100 dinner certificate at The Rotary Club of Hudson's 37th Annual Gala on May 19.

The Rotary Club of Hudson will stage its 37th Annual Gala on Friday, May 19, at the Twinsburg Hilton Garden Inn from 6-10 p.m. The event will feature a cocktails/hors d’oeuvres hour with silent auction, a full course dinner with live auction and multiple raffles. Beneficiaries this year will be Hudson’s Volunteer Emergency Medical Service, The Gift of Life program of Northeast Ohio and the Hudson High School scholarship and Service Learning programs. Support will also be provided for the Elementary school pollinator gardens, Hudson Food Pantry, Hudson Job Search, Hudson Community First, Hudson Community TV, Music from the Western Reserve, Raymond Donovan Valor Home, Afghan Van initiative and Haven of Rest Ministry.

Live auction items include:

  • Gervasi’s Vineyard Resort including one night’s stay, a Spa(new) certificate and dinner valued at $740;

  • Ravenwood Castle in Hocking Hills (one of Forbes Travel 50 best places to visit in the world) two-night stay valued at $450;

  • Anna Maria Sound, Florida Gulf condo for a week valued at $6,000 donated by John and Sarah Adams;

  • Orthodontic package from John White DDS, MSD for a child or adult offering either Invisalign or traditional metal braces valued at $6,000 plus;

  • Bronson Barn in Peninsula (VRBO overlooking the CVNP) one-night stay including a $100 dinner certificate for a local restaurant donated by Laura Jones, total value $400;

  • Cedar Point “create your own experience” gift card valued at $750 donated by Dr. Patricia Goetz;

  • Goldfish Swim School birthday party for 24 children valued at $500;

  • Guardians’ baseball game for 2 in the Lexus Home Plate Club and weekend use of a Lexus RX donated by Lexus of Akron/Canton, valued at $1,000; and

  • Spread Eagle Tavern overnight stay plus a $200 dining card valued at $430.

  • Wine basket featuring a variety of labels donated by the Rotary Gala Committee valued at $500.

Silent Auction items include: seven golf course packages, kids entertainment, music and playhouse performances, weekend getaway lodgings, garden centers, fireworks, hair and nail solons, preferred seating for Hudson events, walnut chess board, jewelry, ladies bicycle and more.
