Valentine’s Day events in the DMV for singles

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Just because you’re single, doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy Valentine’s Day.

Here are three events taking place across the DMV for single guys and gals.

VIRGINIA

Pawlentine’s Day Singles Mixer

District Dogs, National Landing (1450 South Eads Street Arlington, VA 22202)

Sunday, February 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Grab your dog and join District Dogs for their Pawlentine’s playtime while you mingle with other single dog parents.

At the event, you’ll be able to mix and mingle while your dog plays with other pups, enjoy puppuccinos and treats galore and you’ll also be able to create your own Paw-lentine’s Day cards.

WASHINGTON D.C.

In Person Event: Valentine’s Day Seated Speed Dating

Hard Rock Cafe (999 E Street NW Washington, DC 20004)

Wednesday, February 14 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

When you get to the event, make sure to check-in. Then grab a drink and mix and mingle with other singles. When everyone checks in, the speed dating will start.

The man and woman will sit across each other and every few minutes, they will rotate the men to the next woman until everyone has met each other.

Organizers will give the singles a pencil and paper to take notes on whom they have met.

Once the speed dating rotations are done, you can stay at the venue and continue the night.

Organizers will connect you to their dating system within 48 hours after the event so that you can send messages to anyone you meet.

Check-in is at 7:00 a.m. and the dating begins at 7:20 a.m.

MARYLAND

Hearts on Fire—Networking Mixer

Quincy’s Bar and Grille (1093 Seven Locks Rd, Potomac Woods Plaza Shopping Center, Potomac, Maryland 20854)

Thursday, February 8 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm

Potomac Lifestyle Magazine is inviting singles to a Valentine’s Day happy hour to celebrate the season of love.

At the event, you’ll be able to have networking opportunities, enjoy good music, get a complimentary drink ticket, chocolates and candy, snacks, games, raffle prizes, giveaways, fun icebreakers, and matchmaking activities.
