Make Valentine's Day memorable with this guide to Sioux Falls restaurant, bakery specials
Whether you're looking to gift your sweetheart baked goods or reserve a table at a restaurant this year, Sioux Falls has plenty of options for dinner dates and specials for Valentine's Day.

Restaurants
Bread and Circus
Reserve your spot for the restaurant's prix fixe dinner. The menu includes appetizers, an entrée and a dessert with options such as soy ginger seared scallops, duck breast, roasted strip loin with cauliflower, winter panzanella and smoky bordelaise, and chocolate indulgence cake. Wine pairings can be added to the order.
The event is capped at 20 couples per seating, with two seatings held at 5:30-7:30 p.m. and 8-10 p.m. Reservations can be made online through En Place Catering.

Chef Lance's on Phillips
The restaurant is offering a seven-course Valentine's Day wine dinner at 6 p.m. Courses include a first course, soup, salad, seafood, main entrée, cheese and dessert courses. However, the event is sold out already.
Crawford's
Crawford's Valentine's feature will run from Feb. 11 through Feb. 19 to allow everyone to celebrate the holiday. The menu includes a butter poached crab on a baguette, a 20 ounce prime ribeye steak service with porcini raviolis and cognac cream sauce, and a salted caramel pot de crème. Price is not yet set as market prices are in flux.
DaDa Gastropub
The restaurant will be open on Valentine's Day for regular dinner service and with options for a "higher end meal," management said. The Hegg Brothers will also play at DaDa's the Saturday before the holiday. Reservations for both days are encouraged.
Glacial Lakes Distillery
The downtown taproom is partnering with Cultivated in Love for a Valentine's Day-inspired charcuterie class. Tickets are $65 and can be bought online. Each board will be paired with cocktails and at the end of the night, participants can take home the charcuterie
Grille 26
Since Valentine's Day is on a Monday, Vanguard Hospitality, owners of Grille 26, Minervas and Morrie's Steakhouse, will celebrate Friday, Saturday and Monday this year.
The restaurants will be open during their normal business hours and take reservations for any amount of guests. Chefs are currently developing feature menus for the holiday, though they have not finalized the menus, said Ken Bashore, with Vanguard Hospitality.

Harvester Kitchen by Bryan
One of downtown Sioux Falls' newest restaurants is taking reservations for its Valentine's dinner experience on Feb. 11, 12 and 13. The night includes a five course chef tasting menu and wine pairing for guests to experience together on their preferred date and time throughout the weekend.
The menu includes selections such as golden kaluga caviar bite, lobster ravioli, anise glazed Liberty Farms duck breast, an American wagyu flat iron steak and a chocolate tart to share. Reservations can be made online.
K Restaurant
Make reservations at K Restaurant for its Valentine's Day pre fixe dinner on Saturday, Feb. 12 by calling 605-336-3315. There are two seatings available at 5 or 7 p.m. The dinner is a three-course meal for $40 per person. Entree options include a New York strip, pasta and chicken in a lemon herb pesto cream sauce or a salmon filet.

The restaurant will be open on Valentine's Day and will have special offerings including menu items such as wagyu tenderloin paired with poached lobster. There will also be a featured holiday cocktail and dessert, though the details are still in the works. Reservations are encouraged.
R Wine Bar
Enjoy a prix fixe dinner Feb. 14 inside the Eighth Street restaurant. Guests can choose one of two appetizers, one of three entrees and one of two desserts. The night's menu includes options such as beef tenderloin, gorgonzola gnocchi, scallops, lobster tail, red wine fettuccini and a red velvet crème brûlée.
Reserve spots online or call ahead, though the restaurant will accept walk-ins as well. The dinner costs $125 per couple.
Out and about
Chef Ellen
Chef Ellen will be selling $15 heart-shaped cheesecakes for two as well as offering couples cooking class. Classes are already filled for Feb. 14 and 16, with limited availability on Feb. 15. The hands-on class will feature menu items such as prosciutto-wrapped asparagus and candied grapes.
CH Patisserie
Pre-order an eight-piece macaroon heart box starting the first week of February for $25. Customize the macaroon flavors yourself or pick from popular flavors like salted caramel and vanilla bean.
Flyboy Donuts
Flyboy Donuts is offering a variety of Valentine's Day specials, including Valentine's Day dozens, donut letters, decorate-your-own donut kits and custom photo Valentine's Day gift cards. Order ahead online for pickup or delivery.
Mary's Mountain Cookies
Pre-order a choice of sweet treat boxes for Valentine's Day. Options range from a $9 Simply Sweet Box, which includes two 5 ounce cookies; $25 Love Notes Box, which includes six cookies; and a $40 Ooh La Love Box, which includes six cookies, six chocolate-covered strawberries and four brownie bonbons.
Prairie Cocoa & Confections
Take a look at the Prairie Cocoa & Confections offerings for February with their "For the LOVE of Everything Sweet" collection, which includes Valentine's Day cocoa bombs, cookies, cheesecakes, chocolate-covered strawberries, chocolate-covered Oreos and more. The Valentine's Day-themed sweets will be available at the shop's dessert bar in limited quantities or are available for special order.
Sioux Falls Food Co-op
Place an online order for a Vegan Valentine's Day treat box by Feb. 11. The box includes two chocolate strawberry co-op tarts, two chocolate strawberry brownies, two raspberry linzer cookies, two sunflower butter hearts, two frosted sugar cookies and two chocolate donuts. The box costs $25.
Stensland Family Farms
Perfect for dairy lovers, Stensland is offering a cheese and chocolate grazing box, ice cream sundae kits and Valentine's Day ice cream cakes for special order. All orders must be placed by Feb. 7 and picked up Feb. 12-14.
Queen City Bakery
Pre-order a selection of Valentine's Day treats for your sweetheart starting Feb. 2 or stop inside the bakery on the actual holiday. Offerings include an assorted Valentine's Day cookie box for $35, chocolate mousse cake for $7, mini two-layer cake for $14 and tarts for $7. The bakery will also offer bags of shortbread heart cookies and heart-shaped sugar cookies.
