Dutch midfielder Donny van de Beek said on Wednesday he hopes to turn his career around again at Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt.

Van de Beek joined Frankfurt on loan until the end of the season, with a permanent transfer option in summer, after three modest years at Manchester United, with just two games this term.

"It is a new chapter and a new challenge. I have the feeling that this is a good place for me," the 26-year-old said at his official presentation.

Good showings for Frankfurt could held van de Beek return into the Dutch national team, where he has not featured since 2021, possibly even into the squad for the Euros in summer in Germany.

"Everything is possible but my first focus is on Eintracht Frankfurt. Everyone wants to play in the national team. But first it is important to play many games," van de Beek said.

"I have trained hard over the past months on Manchester and I am fit."

Frankfurt on Wednesday announced the signing of German under-21 international Nathaniel Brown until 2029. The 20-year-old midfielder and defender will however complete the season on loan at second-division Nuremberg before making the switch.

"With his dynamism, he fits perfectly into our requirements profile and we are delighted that he will be joining us next season," Frankfurt's sporting director Timmo Hardung said.
