Van Set Ablaze During 'Kill the Bill' Protest at Police Station in Bristol

Protesters clashed with police and set a police van ablaze during a “Kill the Bill” demonstration in Bristol, England, on March 21, in response to a new bill which would give police more power to restrict protests.

Under the proposed bill police would have power to restrict protests that were “intentionally or recklessly causing public nuisance,” a government briefing document said.
