Vanderbilt baseball to donate proceeds from Lipscomb game to benefit Nashville shooting victims

Vanderbilt baseball will donate all proceeds from Tuesday's game against Lipscomb to the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee to benefit victims of The Covenant School shooting, the program announced.

Tickets to the game are $5 plus fees. Both teams will also hold a moment of silence prior to the game.

The game is a rescheduling of the rained-out game last week that was originally set to be held at First Horizon Park. It will be at 6 p.m. CT at Hawkins Field. Vanderbilt will also host a three-game series against Georgia this weekend.

On Monday, three students and three adults were killed in the shooting at the private Christian school in Green Hills. Vanderbilt football coach Clark Lea offered his support for the victims of the shooting and the team held a vigil Monday night. Several local churches also held candlelight vigils in support of the victims.
