Vanderbilt baseball score vs. Missouri: Live updates

Vanderbilt baseball is looking to extend its program-record SEC start this weekend as it heads to Columbia to take on Missouri.

The Commodores (24-5, 9-0 SEC) have won eight of nine series against the Tigers (19-9, 3-6) since they joined the league in 2012 and have swept six of those nine series while also winning two SEC Tournament matchups. Overall, Vanderbilt is 25-4 against Missouri.

Vanderbilt swept Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Georgia to start the season. Missouri started off with a sweep of Tennessee but subsequently got swept by both South Carolina and Kentucky.

Three wins this weekend for the Commodores would tie the record for best start in SEC history. That record is 12-0, set by Tennessee last season.

Davis Diaz is riding an 11-game hitting streak and 22-game on-base streak entering the weekend.
