Vanderbilt baseball vs. San Diego in Corvallis Regional elimination game: Live score updates

CORVALLIS, Ore. — Two days after Vanderbilt dropped a nail-biter to San Diego, the Commodores are set for a rematch, this time with everything on the line.

Vanderbilt beat New Mexico State and the Toreros lost to Oregon State on Saturday to set up the an elimination game between the two teams on Sunday (3 p.m. CT, ESPN+). Neither team has announced a starting pitcher.

The winner of Sunday's game will have a quick turnaround, playing the Beavers an hour later hoping to force a winner-take-all game on Monday to advance to super regionals.

If the Commodores do not advance to super regionals it would be the first time since 2016 they have failed to get out of a regional. Vanderbilt has made it to super regionals in nine of the last 11 seasons, only missing in 2012 and 2016.
