Vanderbilt basketball's Liam Robbins, Quentin Millora-Brown to return next season | Report

Vanderbilt basketball's two-man senior center tandem is reportedly going to return next season.

Seniors Liam Robbins and Quentin Millora-Brown will return as super seniors for the 2022-23 season, according to the SEC Network's Mike Morgan during the broadcast of the Commodores' final regular-season game on Saturday.

Both players have the opportunity to take the extra year due to eligibility rules set for all college players who were on a roster during the COVID-19-impacted 2020-21 season.

Robbins, a transfer from Minnesota, missed the first 23 games this season with a foot injury. In eight games, including four starts, Robbins is averaging 6.3 points and 4.5 rebounds. Robbins has two double-digit scoring efforts in those eight games.

Millora-Brown held down the center spot as Robbins worked to get back onto the court. The 6-foot-10 center is averaging 5.7 points and 5.8 rebounds in 29 games, all starts. Vanderbilt coach Jerry Stackhouse said last month that Millora-Brown, in his second year at Vandy after transferring from Rice, was "more than we ever imagined" as the main option at center.

Morgan also noted that junior Jordan Wright is also returning in 2022-23 for his senior season. Wright, second on the team in scoring, would still have another year of eligibility after next season.

Transfer portal activity notwithstanding, the biggest question about Vanderbilt's 2022-23 roster is All-SEC guard Scotty Pippen Jr. The junior (20.5 points per game) is again among the SEC's leading scorers, but his draft ranking is outside of the top 50 of prospect rankings by NBADraft.net, For The Win and The Athletic.
