Vanderbilt football game time announced vs. Tennessee Vols

Vanderbilt football will kick off against Tennessee at 6:30 p.m. CT on SEC Network for the Nov. 26 contest, the conference announced Monday.

The Commodores (4-6, 1-5 SEC) are 2-2 in night games this season, beating Hawaii and Elon and losing to Alabama and South Carolina.

Vanderbilt is almost certain to be heavy underdogs as the No. 5 Vols (9-1, 5-1) are College Football Playoff contenders. But this rivalry has long been unpredictable, as the Commodores have won five of the past 10 matchups, though Tennessee has won the last three in a row. The most prominent Vanderbilt upset was in 2016, when the Commodores beat a ranked Vols team at home to clinch bowl eligibility.

Tennessee quarterback Hendon Hooker and Vanderbilt quarterback Mike Wright were named SEC co-offensive players of the week after the Commodores defeated Kentucky and the Vols defeated Missouri.

The game will also be Senior Day for Vanderbilt.
