Vanderbilt football: Rocko Griffin, Quincy Skinner not dressed vs. NIU

DEKALB, Illinois — Vanderbilt football running back Rocko Griffin did not dress for the Commodores' game against Northern Illinois.

Griffin made the trip to DeKalb but was not dressed when the team came out for warmups.

Griffin has not played since the opener against Hawaii. Fellow running back Patrick Smith has not played this season and also did not dress against the Huskies.

Wide receiver Quincy Skinner is another player who did not dress Saturday as he re-aggravated an earlier hamstring injury during a loss to Wake Forest.

Center Julian Hernandez, who also got injured during the Hawaii game, was dressed and is expected to play, as is defensive lineman Devin Lee, who has not played yet this season after suffering an injury during spring practice. However, Lee is expected to be on a snap count, according to coach Clark Lea on Thursday.

Vanderbilt kicks off against the Huskies at 2:30 p.m. CT on CBS Sports Network.
