Vanderbilt football score vs. Kentucky: Live updates

LEXINGTON, Ky. — After losing its two most winnable SEC games, Vanderbilt football must now head to Kentucky with a depleted roster for its final road game of the season.

Several players will be out for the game for the Commodores, including offensive linemen Bradley Ashmore, Ben Cox and Xavier Castillo and quarterback AJ Swann. In lieu of Swann, Mike Wright will start at quarterback for Vanderbilt.

The Commodores are coming off a loss to South Carolina by a score of 38-27 and will be without defensive backs coach Dan Jackson, who stepped back from the program while the university investigates comments defending Kanye West, who has espoused antisemitic conspiracy theories. Defensive coordinator Nick Howell will move to coaching corners while graduate assistant Jimmy Thompson will be elevated to the staff.
