Vanderbilt makes top 20 national universities in U.S. News 2022-2023 rankings

Vanderbilt University landed among the top national universities in the country in the latest U.S. News rankings.

According to U.S. News, it considers schools to be national universities if they offer a full range of undergraduate majors, alongside master's and doctoral programs. It also defines them as universities that strive to produce groundbreaking research.

The 2022-2023 rankings, released this month, also include The University of Tennessee, Knoxville at #115 and Belmont University in Nashville at #182, out of 443 schools listed.
