Vanderbilt offering free admission to basketball games for college students over winter break

Vanderbilt is offering free tickets to college students for men's and women's basketball games through Jan. 3, including the SEC openers.

According to the release, anyone with a college ID can get free admission by presenting their ID at the ticket office for select games. Non-student guests can get tickets beginning at $15.

The men's games eligible for the promotion are against Alabama A&M (Dec. 22, 7 p.m.), Southeastern Louisiana (Dec. 30, 6 p.m.) and South Carolina (Jan. 3, 6 p.m.).

The eligible women's games are against Alabama A&M (Dec. 21, 1 p.m.) and Mississippi State (Dec. 29, 5 p.m.).

Vanderbilt men's basketball is 5-6 coming off a loss to NC State and women's basketball is 8-5 coming off an overtime win over Lipscomb.
