Vanessa Feltz 'heartbroken' following death of fiance's brother

Vanessa Feltz has spoke of being "heartbroken" following the death of her fiance's younger brother at just 47.

Feltz has been engaged to Ben Ofoedu since 2006 and took to Instagram to pay tribute to his brother Roy who died last week on 16 September.

The broadcaster wrote: "I am truly heartbroken at the tragic loss of Ben’s beautiful brother a gentle gentleman."

She also shared a video from Ben with a caption that read: "My heart is broken baby bro. I love you so much and know we will see each other again. Rest in eternal peace. Roy Ofoedu. 12/03/75 -16/09/2022."

Feltz also commented: "Darling Ben I am devastated at the tragically premature loss of your beloved brother. I love you too much to see you in such pain. You have my heart, my hand and my prayers my love."

Feltz went on to reveal that her fourth grandchild was recently born. She wrote: "Gosh, we’ve had such a whirlwind of a time in the last couple of days. In the space of 12 hours, Ben lost his beautiful brother Roy at the age of just 47 and about seven, eight hours later, the beautiful Cecily Violet was born. So we have experienced the whole circle of life in less than 24 hours in our family."

She also said: "So we just wanted to say, hello, lots of love, and to anybody going through anything like this, we reach out and it really is an absolute whirlwind of emotions, and anyway we’re just clinging on to each other and taking tremendous joy from the baby. Lots of love to everybody."

A number of famous faces also sent their condolences to Feltz including former EastEnders star Daniella Westbrook, S Club 7's Jo O'Meara and pop group East 17.
