Did You Catch the Secret Hidden Message on Vans' New Harry Potter Sneakers?
God is real! And his name is Albus Dumbledore. How do I know? Well, because my prayers have just been conjured into solid reality and it's nothing short of magic. Vans has teamed up with Warner Bros. to drop an entire Harry Potter Vans collection.
Yep, my favorite shoe brand (former emo kid here! 🙋) and my favorite movies/books to launch what is without a doubt the most epic sneaker launch of all time.
Vans announced the thrilling news completely out of the blue – zero warning, just a surprise post on their Instagram feed that about knocked me off my chair.

The collection reps all four Hogwarts Houses – Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, Gryffindor, and Slytherin. Gryffindor gets a Sk8-Hi printed with the iconic House stripes and crest, Ravenclaw gets a checkered Authentic in silver and blue, Hufflepuff gets a black canvas Slip-On with a badger on it, and the Slytherin House design is a two-tone snakeskin sneaker in green and black.
They didn't stop the magic there, though. Instead of just releasing a once-in-a-lifetime shoe drop, Harry Potter x Vans is serving us a full line of T-shirts, backpacks, socks, hats, jackets, sandals, and sneakers, all with Big HP Energy.
And like the many hidden passageways of Hogwarts, the line has a ton of secret hidden messages you probably didn't notice the first time you looked. Like these platforms that have Morsmordre (the spell to conjure the Dark Mark) written on the side in glow-in-the-dark letters.
Or these Golden Snitch Old Skools with I Open At the Close inscribed on the heel.
