Foundation is getting the vegan treatment this fall, as brands opt to eschew animal products and offer beauty buffs diverse shade ranges with cruelty-free formulas. We round up some of the hottest new launches.

Kat Von D Beauty's latest vegan foundation launch, 'True Portrait,' promises to move with your face, thanks to its 'Elastic Essence' effect, which flexes with the expressions of its wearer and offers lightweight-medium coverage without blocking pores. The foundation comes in 40 colors designed to adapt to a wide range of skin tones, and offers a matte finish. It launches globally on September 2, and the brand has unveiled a campaign fronted by the singer-songwriter Jhené Aiko, who describes that product as feeling like "vegan silk."
Celebrity makeup artist and beauty mogul Charlotte Tilbury has been back in the lab working on a brand-new vegan foundation, 'Airbrush Flawless Longwear Foundation, which launched this week. In addition to promising longwearing, full coverage with a matte finish in 44 different shades, this foundation's formula also claims to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and boost the skin's hydration levels.
If you like your foundation a little lighter, check out the new 'Tinted Cover' foundation from Nudestix, which boasts a vegan formula including lavender oil and 18 different botanical extracts to improve the skin's condition. The foundation, which launched on August 15, also contains tinted pigments to even out the skin tone.
