Vegetation fire that burned near Desert Hot Springs fully contained
A vegetation fire that was burning near Desert Hot Springs north of Desert Dunes Golf Club just off Dillon Road on Sunday night has been fully contained.
The fire burned a quarter of an acre in moderate to heavy fuels along the 17-400 block of Angelus Vista, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire.
The area was experiencing winds of 30 mph, officials said.
