Vehicle crash on I-81N in Botetourt County now cleared

UPDATE BOTETOURT COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – VDOT reports the vehicle crash causing a 1.5-mile backup on I-81N in Botetourt County has been cleared.

National Weather Service issues ‘Red Flag Warning’ for Southwest & Central Virginia

All lanes of traffic are now reopened.

BOTETOURT COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – The Virginia Department of Transportation says there is currently a vehicle accident on I-81N near mile marker 166.6 in Botetourt County.

Fire at Twelve O’Clock Knob Road burns 75 acres, 80% contained

Details are currently limited; however, lane closures exist. Traffic is currently backed up around 1.5 miles. Drivers can expect delays until further notice.
