Vehicle crashes into used car building in Carrick

A vehicle smashed into a used car building Saturday morning.

A car traveling on Brownsville Road lost control and crashed through a garage door of John Varney Used Car Sales at around 7:30 a.m.

The garage door was left barely hanging on by a piece of metal.

Witnesses say the driver ran away on foot after the crash.

Workers say the building was closed when the vehicle came crashing into it.

City workers set up barricades on the sidewalk.
