Vehicle hits pedestrian on Moffett Road: Mobile Police

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — The Mobile Police Department is investigating after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle on Monday.

According to reports, officers responded to Moffett Road near Howells Ferry Road at around 7:08 p.m. Feb. 5 on reports of a pedestrian struck.

Preliminary investigations revealed that a pedestrian was walking in the roadway when they were hit by a car traveling westbound.

Medics took the pedestrian to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities say the driver remained on the scene and was not found to be impaired.

This is an ongoing investigation.
