Vehicles Stuck as Bridge Collapses in Philippines

A bridge collapsed near La Carlota, the Philippines, on August 1, local officials said, as three vehicles were crossing it.

This footage, posted on Facebook by Jim Elisa Pieldad, shows the cars stuck near vertically on the collapsed bridge.

City officials said that the bridge was made from recycled steel and was “intended for tricycles and motorcycles only.” This footage, however, shows three cars that were crossing the bridge when it collapsed.
