Vehicles With 'Trump 2020' Signage Drive Through Dayton During President's Visit

A caravan of large vehicles decked out in “Trump 2020” banners and other pro-Trump signage drove through the streets of Dayton, Ohio, on August 7 as the president visited the city following a deadly shooting over the weekend.

President Donald Trump visited the city on Wednesday to meet with law enforcement, first responders, and victims of the shooting, according to his Twitter account.

Connor Betts, 24, opened fire at Ned Peppers bar in Dayton on Sunday. At least 10 people, including Betts, were killed in the attack, and 26 others were injured.

This video shows a group of large vehicles outfitted in “Trump 2020” signs and flags honking and driving through Dayton less than a half-mile away from Ned Peppers.

People also gathered near Dayton’s Miami Valley Hospital on Wednesday to erect the “baby Trump blimp” and call for stricter gun laws following the shooting.

More than $3,000 was raised in one day to bring the blimp from Chicago to Dayton for the protest, according to the protesters’ GoFundMe page.

After Dayton, Trump was due to visit El Paso, Texas, where a gunman killed at least 20 people and injured 26 more at a Walmart on Saturday. Credit: @itsallgood188 via Storyful
