Vela to host Service Academy Day

Apr. 8—U.S. Rep. Filemon Vela Jr. will host a Service Academy Day via Zoom at 10 a.m. on April 10.

The event is an opportunity for middle school and high school students in District 34 to hear from representatives of the U.S. Military Academy (West Point), the U.S. Naval Academy, the U.S. Air Force Academy, the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, and learn how to apply to each of these institutions.
