Ventura County Transportation Commission to be discussed at Ventura area council

Two Ventura County Transportation Commission employees will give an introduction to the agency at the College Area Community Council meeting Wednesday night.

Matt Miller, program manager of transit services, and Andrew Kent, a program analyst in countywide planning and programming, will speak about planning and coordinating transportation at the 7 p.m. virtual meeting.

Cmdr. Rick Murray of the Ventura Police Department will give an update on local crime. Vanessa Stotler, communications and marketing manager for Ventura College, will discuss the latest campus information.

Patrick Davidson, executive director of CAPS Media, will give an update on the community access channel. Councilmember Mike Johnson will discuss recent City Council decisions.

The neighborhood council represents residents in District 3, an area on the north side of Highway 126 between Mills and Hill roads that extends to city limits in the hillsides.
