A new Veridian Credit Union branch is under construction near The District at Prairie Trail in Ankeny.

Veridian services will move out of a nearby Hy-Vee store and into an expanded 3,400-square-foot standalone location at 2115 S.W. State St. with four drive-up lanes, including a lane with an ATM. There will be space for business and consuming lending services and a coin machine inside the building.

"We have a long history of partnering with Hy-Vee for Veridian branch locations, and we’re grateful for that partnership," said Shelly McGill, central Iowa regional manager for Veridian. "Shifting this location to a traditional, stand-alone branch less than half a mile away will allow us to offer drive-up service and more interior space, which will provide an overall improved member experience."

The new branch is expected to open in spring 2024. The Prairie Trail Hy-Vee branch will close just before the new one opens. Employees at the Hy-Vee branch will transfer to the new location.
