Colchester wins N.Y. invitational: Colchester won the 54th Peru Invitational on Saturday. Mason Sheltra (110 pounds), Cahota Lafond (118) and Mike O'Callaghan (145) captured first-place honors in their respective weight classes to lead the Lakers.

Jordan Lavoie (152), Cam Katon (160), Skyler Lamphere (172) and Josh Martel (189) added runner-up finishes for Colchester, while Brody Coppins (third, 172), Tyler Blanchard (third, 132), Graham Resmer (third, 285), Owen Fullerton (fifth, 215). AIden Perren (fourth, 126) and Dylan Jacobs (sixth, 138) also earned high finishes.
