Vermont, New Hampshire teams announced for 2023 Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl

The 2023 Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl rosters were announced in March.

The 70th summer classic is scheduled to be played on Saturday, Aug. 5 at Dave Wolk Stadium on the campus of Castleton University. Kick-off is slated for 11:30 a.m.

The Vermont coach is Greg Balch of Windsor and New Hampshire is led by Chris Sanborn of Plymouth.

The Shrine Bowl is played for the benefit of the Shriners Children’s facilities and has raised millions of dollars, according to the news release. The Shrine Maple Sugar Bowl game is one of 30 Shrine games played every year across the country.
