Note: Stone’s 1-yard TD rush in OT tied the game at 33 and Jackson Gillett’s PAT won it for Midd. Hartford forced the extra period on Mock's 11-yard TD catch from Trombly with about two minutes left in regulation.

Note: Pockette's 30-yard QB keeper extended the Rutland lead to 35-0 with 6:50 left in the third.

Essex 35, Colchester 12

E: Charlie Bowen (141 passing yards; 9 carries, 83 rushing yards, 3 total TDs). Tanner Robbins (16 carries, 82 rushing yards, TD; 30-yard TD reception). Carter Crete (TD rush). Nicholas Allaire (INT on defense). Josh Brown (8 catches, 85 yards).

C: Matai Callahan (5-yard TD catch). Jordan Lavoie (185 passing yards; TD rush). Caleb LaVasseur (15 carries, 65 rushing yards). Mason Cardinal (4 catches, 63 yards).

Note: Essex staked to a 21-0 halftime lead and built its advantage to 35-0 before running time started early in the fourth quarter. Essex has won four straight games to improve to 4-2.

St. Johnsbury 21, Burlington/South Burlington 13

SJA: Quinn Murphy (23 carries for 159 yards, 9-yard TD rush, 31-yard TD rush; 10 of 19 for 72 yards, 44-yard TD pass). John Kelley (7 carries for 62 yards). Alejandro Orozco (44-yard TD catch).

B/SB: Sam Parris (19 carries for 87 yards, 2-yard TD rush, 1-yard TD rush). Nick Kelly (5 of 14 for 47 yards). Jack Kelly (36 passing yards). Hunter Johnson (3 catches for 36 yards).

Note: After a 7-6 advantage at halftime, St. Johnsbury fell behind 13-7 on Parris' 1-yard score with 9:53 left in regulation. Murphy responded with a 7-play drive and finished with a 9-yard TD to lead 14-13. SJA iced the game on Murphy's 31-yard TD scamper with 1:50 remaining.

BBA: Jack McCoy (31 of 45 for 389 yards, 5 pass TDs; 7 carries for 31 yards). Michael Crabtree (7 carries for 17 yards; 4 catches for 47 yards, 18-yard TD catch). Note: In the matchup of unbeatens host Champlain Valley led 21-13 at halftime. The Redhawks nailed a field goal on the first possesion of the second half. Burr and Burton opened the fourth quarter with a 9-yard TD catch to pull within a 24-21 margin. CVU sandwiched scored back-to-back touchdowns between Provost's INT and built a 17-point lead that they held for the win.

Rice 60, Mount Abraham 41

Otter Valley 36, Poultney 0

OV: Caleb Whitney 2 TD rush; 1 TD pass). Keevon Parks (TD rush). Noel Pearsons (TD rush). Tucker Babcock (45-yard TD catch).

Note: Whitney and Parks each went over 100 rushing yards as OV built a 30-0 halftime lead.

Mill River 48, Missisquoi 20

MR: Anthony Cavalieri (5 TD passes). Mason Boudreau (3 TD catches).

Anthony Cavalieri, one of Mill River's six seniors, threw for five touchdowns, three going to Mason Boudreau and the other two to Adam Shum and Phil Severy.
