Note: The Catamounts shot just 35.3% from the field for their lowest point total of the season in the America East conference opener. Vermont (8-5) trailed by 15 at halftime but came within five at the end of the third quarter. Albany started the fourth frame with a 13-3 run to build a 55-40 lead. Albany finished with a 35-22 rebounding edge.

Note: Maatta's power-play goal just 3:52 into the game gave Vermont an early advantage. Good scored nearly two minutes later as Vermont led 2-0 after the first period. Lindewood equalized with a goal eight seconds into the third period, but Vermont poured in two goals to pull away for the win. UVM had seven power plays and netted two goals.

Note: Lindewood rallied from a pair of one-goal deficits and then won it in the extra period on Gagnon's tally to earn the weekend split at Gutterson Fieldhouse. The Catamounts (7-12-1) return to action Jan. 8 when they host Yale.
