Women’s hockey

Note: Schafzahl tied the game with two minutes left in the third period to earn No. 11 Vermont (19-10-2, 14-8-2) one point at home. Vermont totaled 45 shots to New Hampshire's 17 and won faceoffs 28-26. The Wildcats blocked 15 shots.

Men’s hockey

Vermont 3, Massachusetts 3 (Massachusetts won shooutout 2-1)

Note: Vermont (9-15-4, 4-12-2) trailed 3-0 entering the third period, but tallied a trio of goals over 18 minutes to secure one point. Shots were even at 31, but Massachusetts had advantages in faceoffs (31-24) and blocked shots (12-6).

Note: No. 11 Vermont (20-10-2, 15-8-2) scored two goals in 5:39 of the opening period in the regular-season home finale. The Catamounts swept the season series against the Black Bears outscoring Maine 16-3 over three games. UVM took 34 shots to Maine's 24 and won faceoffs 28-21. Vermont, currently second in Hockey East, concludes the regular season with a two-game set at New Hampshire.

Women’s basketball

L: Ivory Finley 12 points. Amaya Dowdy 11 points, 15 rebounds.

Note: The Catamounts (18-6, 10-2) led wire-to-wire for their 10th straight win, the longest regular-season streak since 2002. Vermont had contributions from 10 different scorers and recorded 15 assists on 23 of 60 shooting from the field. UVM shot 42.9% from beyond the arc. Lowell managed just 19 points in the first half and was held to 23.6% shooting for the game.
