Vermont man finds biological family, then donates kidney to 9-year-old great-nephew

Dan Hamel was adopted as a baby. In middle age, he went to track down biological relatives, only to learn he missed his mother by three months. But he met family in the very town where he lived, including a niece with a son whose life may have been saved by Dan’s kidney.
