Veteran Groups set to donate $6K to area charities

Three veteran groups are set to hold their annual Veterans Day ceremony later today, according to a release.

The Lebanon Correctional Institution (LeCI), Incarcerated Veterans Group, and Veterans of Modern Warfare Chapter 25 will be meeting today to participate in the ceremony.

Members from the veteran groups will be making donations totaling $6,000 to Brothers Beyond Battlefield, ALS, Project Rise Above, Ohio Veteran Outdoors, and Toys for Tots.

This year’s guest speaker will be Thomas “Drago” Dzieran.

The release listed Dzieran as a highly decorated retired navy SEAL, author, software engineer, and American hero.
