Veteran Hiring Fair to be held at Acrisure Stadium
On Thursday, Aug. 18, Acrisure Stadium will play host to a hiring fair for military veterans.
The no-cost event is being put on by the nonprofit charity DAV, or Disabled American Veterans, as well as RecruitMilitary, a staffing and recruiting company based in Chesapeake, Virginia. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the West Club Lounge at the stadium.
Over 50 employers in the region will be present at the hiring fair, where veterans, military spouses, dependents, transitioning military members and members of the Guard and Reserve can share their resumes and experiences, network and hear about job opportunities. Educational institutions and service agencies will also be present.
