Veterans Day 2022: What's open and what's closed around Greater Cincinnati

Friday, Nov. 11, is Veterans Day, the annual remembrance of all those who have served in the military, past or present.

Formerly known as Armistice Day, it was originally set to honor the end of World War I, which officially took place on Nov. 11, 1918. In 1938, Congress made it a legal holiday, and it is now one of 10 federal holidays recognized by the U.S. government.

With the holiday, there will likely be a few changes to the normal operating hours of businesses and government services you may normally frequent.
